The block is placed between the top deck and the bottom deck. It is generally oblong but it can be cylindrical if it is wooden agglomerated.

A palette with blocks allows the passage of the forks of a transpalette as well in the sense of the length as in the sense of the width, contrary to a palette with not cut stringers.

In a palette with cutting of angle, one can use wooden blocks agglomerated which can be cut before, that is, cut in all the angles. They so allow the guide of the forks of the wagon at the time of its penetration.
